In a medical environment where everything moves at lightning speed, Dr. Erika Vatsar-Fail thrives. Working in a regional hospital trauma center, she made critical health decisions in as little as 15 minutes. Her desire to spend quality time with patients is what led her to join USA Spine Care.
Using compassionate guidance, Dr. Vatsar-Fail knows care and understanding lead to the best surgical experience for our patients. As an anesthesiologist, she believes in the importance of following a doctor’s recommendations. With her drive for establishing strong doctor-patient relationships, she plays an active role in her patients’ care plans.
Dr. Vatsar-Fail empowers her patients by educating them on the benefits of making lifestyle modifications prior to surgery. She believes that maintaining a healthy weight and avoiding heavy pain medications, are some of the most important factors.
In her free time, Dr. Fail enjoys hiking the mountains of Arizona, rollerblading, racquetball, pottery and sculpting. Even though she lives in a desert, as a former figure skater, she feels right at home on the ice. She met her husband while ice skating on a fateful New Year’s Eve.
